MATTIA'S "VOLUNTARY" SHOTGUN RETIREMENT!!!
DUPLICITOUS, HYPOCRITICAL, INDICTED AND RETIRED MATTIA
A few years ago, 827 info reported on Mattia's so called "Voluntary Retirement". A the time, 827info was sure there was CRIMINAL indictment pending, however we had to wait until such time as it was published on the USDOJ website (click here to see full indictment) to comment on it.
Phony Soprano Mattia has told many members many different stories regarding his theft of your medical funds and his pilfering of your funds for wages that he had to pay back to 827. He and his dingelberries think because he paid back the wages he stole, that is absolved him of any sin. Mattia, the bank robber, paid back YOU, and all was forgiven. Hmmmm how many members have been fired for use of the gas card and were not given the option of paying back money and not being fired???
Anyway, we'll focus on Mattia's sudden retirement and any possible deal he made with the company to not be prosecuted by them for theft of funds. We also remind you that in 2013's election and before MATTIA CRITICIZED AND URGED MEMBERS TO NEVER VOTE FOR RETIRED OFFICERS! Well apparently Mattia does not have the INTEGRITY of someone like Recording Secretary Suzanne Wallin, who after retiring is serving out her term and not running for re-election.
DUPLICITOUS, HYPOCRITICAL, INDICTED AND RETIRED MATTIA can be made to live up to his own self professed objection to RETIRED MEMBERS HOLDING UNION OFFICE. All you need to do is vote for Isa Woods.
CRIMINALLY INDICTED RETIRED MATTIA's completely weak personal values are abandoned when it serves his purpose. One would think such a "person" (not a man) would have finished his term like Wallin, and left, but no. If Mattia can make a dime off a scheme, as demonstrated in the indictment cited and linked above, he will do it.
We have seen many members who were caught doing bad things that were allowed to pay back money they stole in order to avoid criminal prosecution by companies, but CRIMINALLY INDICTED RETIRED MATTIA has to stand up and tell you the truth for a change. Otherwise we are left with informed speculation. We were aware of the many interviews of members, some of whom were fired for exactly what was done regarding the fraud perpetrated, aided and abetted by the CRIMINALLY INDICTED RETIRED MATTIA,.
So how is the following for a possible CRIMINALLY INDICTED RETIRED MATTIA scenario:
CRIMINALLY INDICTED RETIRED MATTIA, was found out by auditors, or others, for the healthcare company. Verizon informed of the massive scheme to defraud our medical benefits by a scheme involving CRIMINALLY INDICTED RETIRED MATTIA, his recruits in the scheme, a willing doctor and insurance claims. And Verizon initiates its investigation. As a result of their investigation, CRIMINALLY INDICTED RETIRED MATTIA is given, or on his own realizes he is going to need cash to pay back the money he stole. So MATTIA retires, loses a race for council in Belleville, moves from Belleville to Cedar Grove and tries to tell members it is a different Carmine Mattia who has been indicted. But a picture in the NJ Globe with his name and his picture proves he lies. As a result of the investigation MATTIA takes a deal with Verizon NJ or on his own retires in order to avoid termination. If there is a record of such a deal we , do not know. But if past history is any guide, it follows that his sudden retirement was not a result of advice from financial advisors, but more likely legal advisors. If he admitted the offenses to Verizon and any other union officers were aware, they were constitutionally required to prefer charges against Mattia. More to come on that as it becomes available.
Anyone who believes Mattia has not perpetrated the crimes he has been indicted for simply is not paying attention. And yes campaigning can take a negative tone. News can be negative or positive. But either way it is news. There is no positive way to report what the CRIMINALLY INDICTED RETIRED MATTIA has done.
Finally, it would make no sense for Mattia to retire and give up additional pension credits and 401k matching contributions from Verizon no matter what he says. Hmmmmm..... is Local 827 (you) now making up for the Verizon share of matching 401k contributions he is not getting from Verizon???
When you vote, use your own understanding of the issues. And the CRIMINALLY INDICTED RETIRED MATTIA's propensity for theft is a major issue that you need consider.
Isa Woods will return an active not retired effort along with honesty and integrity to the Essex Unit.
